We are excited to see you all on February 28th! As you are preparing your posters for the session, please keep in mind the poster guidelines as are described below.
Poster Preparation. The poster may consist of images, illustrations, photographs supplemented by charts, descriptive material, technical information/factors, etc. Emphasis should be placed on originality of the content, technical excellence, education value, and practical application. If you are working on confidential or restricted projects, please focus on capabilities and public knowledge. The attending guests are not bound by a confidentiality agreement. Construction of the poster must be suitable for display on a free-standing, fabric-covered display board. Each board supports four posters—two on each side. Push pins will be provided to mount the posters. The total size of the poster must not exceed 36 inches by 42 inches. You may elect to use portrait or landscape orientation. No tabletop displays or other displays of any kind will be accepted without prior approval. If you need assistance with printing, please contact Bob Davies at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday, February 22nd at close of business.
Poster Posting You will have access to the members’ lounge/cafeteria area to post your posters on designated poster boards as early as 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27th but no later than 8 a.m. Thursday, morning (February 28th). The section where you can post your poster will be labeled by school.
- On Thursday, February 28th, please check in at the registration table upon arrival to pick up your name tag and other workshop materials.
- Dress is business casual or better.
- You must be present and standing by your posters no later than 12:25 pm ready to make your presentations.
- We have reserved boxed lunches for all poster presenters and they will be available for pick up in the Seminar Room, 114 RBI
